Vivid, energetic and fluid. The petals are more than dynamic and textured - if you look closely you will see a waterfall in each of the petals cascading into the black pool below over golden rocks.
Artistic inspiration: I would like to say that I had this concept of waterfalls in the petals when I started painting but alas… :) it hit me as I was doing the painting. I then carried it throughout the piece. Being fluid not only reflects in my paintings but also how I approach life in general. Have a plan but don’t stifle opportunities as they present themselves.
